The RHHS Library is a hub for learning and wellbeing.

On this site you will find a range of guides and advice on how to access information and support for learning while you are here at RHHS.

 

What we offer

The library is a place that is used for many purposes. It is a flexible space that tries to cater for your needs and the needs of others in the following areas:

  • Study, research and learning

  • Enjoyment through reading, games, and gaming

  • Socialising with friends

 

Homework centre

The homework centre is open:

  • Mornings starting from 7:30am on Tuesday both weeks

  • Afternoons until 4pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday both weeks

Look at the timetable of which teachers will be attending. 

If you need help from a specific subject teacher, you might be able to ask them to attend the Homework centre - but give them some notice.

Rooty Hill High School is situated on Darug land. The Rooty Hill High School community would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we have the privilege to live, work and share each day. Staff and students strive to uphold the actions of our Reconciliation Action Plan. Our commitment extends from the classroom, to the school grounds and into the community. We show respect to Country by ensuring that all staff and students take responsibility for and engage with annual events to contribute to the ongoing learning that takes place in the classroom. We acknowledge and work on maintaining strong relationships with members of the community and our Elders that assist with continuing our Aboriginal Education journey. We would like to pay respect to all Elders who have come before us; they inspire us to make a positive cultural and educational change.
